| Every Saturday, from 5 pm to 6 pm, Los Puros play at TiGeorge's Chicken. Los Puros, the great little TiGeorges, and the awesome Haitian food make a combination worth experiencing. I recently went back with some friends. I ordered a seafood dinner called Lambi - an aphrodisiac according to the menu! - My boyfriend David was more adventurous and tried the goat meat. Several friends had the chicken plate. Not one, of our table of ten, had a single complaint. Pretty good eh? The band is fun to watch. And where else do you get to see the band members sip beer between songs? [beer which they take in themselves by the way, because the restaurant serves no alcohol. - We brought in our Red Stripe -] The band plays only a few steps away, in between rotisserie equipment. It's seriously cute. Check out TiGeorge's menu and address at http://www.tigeorgeschicken.com . Los Puros are for hire. If you ever need music for an event, e-mail me and I'll hook you up Shelly, their timbalera. This is a great way to spend the late afternoon of a Saturday, and it is so unique I doubt you'll easily find anything like it in the area. Check it out and let me know what you think! --dena b.
