Louie Cruz Beltran at the Hollywood Studio Bar and Grill
I didn't get enough salsa this past weekend and decided I needed my Monday salsa fix. So, I headed
out to LA. Nestled in the corner of a strip mall in the heart of Hollywood is a little gem called the
Hollywood Studio Bar and Grill.
Performing that night was Louie Cruz Beltran. Now Louie is not just a salsa singer, he's a performer. He
really knows how to work the crowd. The dance floor is wood and very nice and there's plenty of room to
dance.
His brother, Robert Beltran, who is an actor, was in the house celebrating his birthday. You may remember
him from Star Trek's Deep Space Nine.
Hopefully Louie will continue to do a regular gig at Hollywood Grill on Monday nights because it provides a
nice alternative to the over-packed Floridita.
