LA SONORA CARRUSELES, AND CHINO ESPINOZA Y LOS DUENOS DEL SON, at the
Hollywood Park Casino - 10/26/07
This concert was produced by George Gonzalez, of George Gonzalez
Productions and MIJOS Printing. It had a respectable show of
people, and the music of Chino Espinoza y los Duenos del Son, La Sonora
Carruseles de Colombia, and by DJKenny.
My observations: Chino Espinoza, as usual, was great. La
Sonora Carruseles was fun to watch - something was up with the singers'
microphones though, as can be seen in the video below. The
performance by Alex de Silva and Alian kicked ass! The Argentinian
empanadas were a great addition. The lone bartender was only
a so-so decision. The continuous fog thrown on the artists on stage
was unfortunate.
As a whole, I had fun. And by the looks of these pictures, so did
everyone else.
