SALSA DANCING AT SILHOUETTE CAFE, IN BURBANK - August 8, 2008
Silhouette Cafe, is a colorful
bar, in the heart of Burbank, open for Salsa dancing on Thursday and
Sunday nights. Mike Ticas and Christina Haggerty [

] teach a beginner level Salsa dance class from 8 pm to 9 pm on
Thursdays, after which there is open dancing with DJ Timba Pod.
Sergio and Salud [
http://www.latindancepro.com ] teach an intermediate Salsa Class
from 7 pm to 8 pm on Sundays, with social dance following. Both
teams have occasional dance performances and live music.
The club has an outside patio, an excellent dance floor,
and according to its owner, John Gevorkian, it is also available for
special events. Entrance into the club on Thursday and Sunday is
$5 after the class. For class prices please check the instructors'
