CHINO ESPINOZA Y LOS DUENOS DEL SON AT THE L.A. SALSA CONGRESS - DAY 4 - June 1, 2008

     In Los Angeles, Chino Espinoza y los Duenos del Son are family.  Everybody's family.  That is why it was no surprise, on the last night of Congress, to see a bunch of dancers up on stage moving along the band, or Chino wearing some dancer's hat, or the girls (us girls) making crazy noise for those "trombones bailadores" that are now also Duenos del Son, and their... ehmm...very talented... body gyrations.  And so the last hours of the L.A. Salsa Congress were truly a party. 

     The band's good job warranted a thumbs up comment from Alfredo De La Fe.  Did everybody know that they had played all day long at the Puerto Rican festival already!?  Now, THESE are true Energizer Bunnies of Salsa!

     The L.A. Salsa Congress 2008 is now over.  I am exhausted, but I had a fabulous time.  I was there courtesy of my friends William and Pauline of http://www.SalsawithStars.com  shoes. Without them I would have been out of luck. Thank you guys.  Now, somebody go and buy some shoes from them, will ya?!
