I don't get to say this very often, but I get to say it today... if you weren't at Little Temple this past Saturday for 'Descarga' night, you MISSED OUT! BIG TIME missed out!  The night was off the hook awesome!

First of all because Little Temple is such a cool hangout [http://www.littletemple.com].  Second, because the DJs that night were incredible.  DJ Loslito is my hero, talk about playing good classic Salsa, Cha-Cha-Cha, Cumbia, Samba, I think I even heard Bossa Nova, all played from records! how cool is that! Why don't we see DJ Loslito at our regular Salsa clubs?  I dunno... but damn! he'd be something there!

After him came DJ Sloe Poke, raising it up with fast Colombian Salsa, Reggaeton mixes, Merengues... all records again!

The live music was Bombolaye's, a five piece band including well-known 'Perico' Hernandez playing the congas.  Great sound.  I must have danced to every one of their songs.

The damage? Five dollars valet parking, seven dollars at the door, six dollar drinks.  Not too bad for such a cool evening.

Little Temple is host to varied music events.  'Descarga' night happens on the second Saturday of each month, which means, the fun will be back on February 11th.  Visit http://www.descargaclub.com and add yourself to their mailing list so that they'll remind you when the time gets closer.

You'll love it, I'm sure.  Picture this....
