HERMAN OLIVERA AT STEVENS STEAKHOUSE - June 13th, 2008
Dressed all in white, and with the energy and the dance
moves that characterize him, Herman Olivera performed Friday night in
the large room of Stevens Steakhouse. The place was packed with
folks aware of Olivera's craft, with some of L.A.'s most dedicated Salsa
media represented - Alma del Barrio, Canto Tropical, LatinBeat, and the
likes.
On stage with Olivera were Fabian *, Eddie Resto, Papo
Rodriguez, Christian *, Bobby Escoto, Humberto Ruiz, Steve Johnson,
Danny *, Fabio *, Alberto Gonzalez and Roosevelt Cordoba. They
really did a good job.
This event was organized by musician Bobby Escoto, his
first produced concert ever, and a successful one. Bobby has plans
to duplicate this effort in the near future, so keep an eye open for
this new compilation of musicians, "La Nueva Sorpresa," accompanying
voices such as Olivera, Frankie Morales, and Frankie Vasquez.
