ARTE*SALSA*SABOR AT HIGHWAYS PERFORMANCE - Sept 15, 2007

It was a sold out event last night at the Highways Performances gallery in Santa Monica (http://www.highwaysperformance.org ) for the after party of the Highways 3rd Annual Latino New Works Festival.  The evening included performances by the Blankenship Ballet Dance Co. of Venice, The Erika Elizondo and El Tambor group (http://www.myspace.com/eltamborcollective ) the ABC Project, Christian Oviedo, a Celia Cruz impersonator, and the live music of Eddie Resto (http://www.myspace.com/eddieresto ) and Grupo Mundillo, with the participation of Oscar Hernandez, Walter Rodriguez, Gilberto Torres and Alberto Salas (http://www.myspace.com/albertosalas ) .

The event was successfully coordinated by Humberto Capiro of Arte*Salsa*Sabor. The food, the mojitos, the dances, the music, and the lovely combination of art loving people created a fantastic evening for all of us.
