MANICATO @ 'DESCARGA NIGHT' IN LITTLE TEMPLE, SILVERLAKE - Sept 8, 2007

Saturday night was happening at Little Temple, in Silverlake, with Manicato, from San Francisco, in the house, and the music of DJ Loslito.

It is always so fun at the Descarga events!  It happens on the second Saturday of the month, every time with a different performer.  The information for it is at http://www.descargaclub.com

About Manicato, from their myspace page:  "The word Manicato (A bold, valiant person of a good heart) is derived from the indigenous tribe of Puerto Rico known as the Tainos.  Manicato's socially conscious grooves will have you dancing Salsa, Cumbia, Timba, Rock, Reggae, Bomba, Plena, Hip-Hop, Funk and everything in between, this is a fresh new sound in one of the oldest languages, the universal language of music."  Check them out at http://www.myspace.com/manicato

And here's what I saw...
