OXNARD SALSA FESTIVAL on Saturday 7/28

That was fun.  I came back with my nose sun burnt and exhausted, but it was a great day.  We arrived just as Tabaco y Ron began its set, and stayed until the day's end.  This year the Festival is bigger and better.  Lots of familiar faces were there today dancing the day away, and not only the Salsa to be dance was good... so was the Salsa to be eaten.  We did the tasting thing and it was good!

If you read this early enough... make it on Sunday!  It is a great way to spend the weekend.

FYI:  No charge for the music.  $3 for the Salsa tasting which includes a bag of chips and many, many samples.  Beer in the beer-gardens only.  The day ends at 7 pm.
