girlfriend Gloria
Martinez,
welcomed their son Tito
Antonio Puente Jr.
to the world. Little
Puente Jr. was born
at Palmetto General
Hospital in Miami,
FL. He is 7 pounds 3
ounces and 20 inches
long with a smile
just like his dad
and grandfather.
“There have
been many
incredible
moments in my
life, but this
is the greatest.
I can
not compare it
to anything
else, he is a
true blessing in
my life”, said
Tito Puente Jr.,
leaving the
medical center
where his son
was born. The
artist, who
stopped his tour
to spend this
week for the
birth of his
son, was joined
by his mother
Margaret Puente,
who arrived from
New York City in
time for the
occasion;
Margaret is the
widow of the
late Tito Puente
and grandmother
to his daughter
Miranda Cristina
Puente, whom was
born last year
at the same
hospital.
Dr. Robert
Fojo presided
over the
delivery and
confirmed that
the baby is
healthy; also
stating that he
was delighted to
be part of this
important moment
in Tito Jr.´s
life.
Meanwhile,
the new father
will continue
with his
concerts
throughout the
United States
and abroad next
week. Now
celebrating the
arrival of his
son, as his
father would,
Tito Puente, Jr.
and his son are
having the time
of their lives
