LA ORQUESTA BINACIONAL DEL MAMBO AT THE SAN DIEGO LATIN FILM FESTIVAL
OPENING GALA - March 12, 2009
Already a week ago The
San Diego Latin Film Festival opened this year's events with a gala,
much larger in attendance than any of previous years, that featured La
Orquesta Binacional del Mambo and performances by two Salsa dance groups
from the San Diego area, Positive Energy Dance
(with a few positively amazing physiques!) and
Salsa Divas.
The gala was held in at the Se San Diego
Hotel, in downtown San Diego, and it was the kick-off of two weeks of
films presented at the Hazard Center Cinemas that will end this Sunday,
March 22.
The Film Festival will also hold a closing
celebration that will feature Gene Perry and his 10 piece orchestra at
Hotel Solamar. For information on this event go to
