Fun with Son Mayor at the Conga Room - July 25, 2009
Sometimes things just combine perfectly for a great time.
Saturday night at the Conga Room was just one of those nights, even with
the huge intermission between band sets during which some other music
stuff was played, and even if the second set of Son Mayor was super
short. We all wanted "Otra," but oh well... at least we were left
wanting to see them again.
However, it was the right mix of friends, maybe the right
amount of spirits, maybe the company of the salseras from Belgium who
had contacted VidaSalsera.com asking for suggestions and did come
through in making a phone call once they were here. Son Mayor
sounded great, the musicians were in a good mood, and the dance shoes
were sliding just right on the dance floor... nice when all the elements
line up!
