It was popping
at the Conga Room on Thursday night by 8 pm already, as DJ Picoso and
Son Mayor entertained the organizers of Fiesta Broadway. Big Latino
community names were in the house - City Councilman Oscar Huizar, radio
personality Carlos Alvarez, and so forth. Many dancers joined
later in the evening, including the fancy ones - perhaps those who are
starting to test the floor for the upcoming dance competitions.
Salsabor y Cache performed, and it was a very nice time until midnight,
when unfortunately and suddenly everybody was sent home.
