SUNDAY NIGHT AT THE LA SALSA CONGRESS - JOHNNY POLANCO Y SU CONJUNTO AMISTAD - May 24, 2009

   Notes:

1. The acknowledgement from ATP to yours truly is, (obviously only to me) the highest of the highlights.  :)

2. The performances were really good Sunday night. In detail...

3. Search for Dave and Zoe from New York on Youtube or elsewhere.  Amazing strength!

4. The new Edwin Rivera show was different, interesting to watch.

5. Marco Ferrigno from Milan, Italy, and his partner were awesome too. What is that called? modern dance?

6. Christian and Liz were great.

7. David, the kid that is Maykel Fonts protege, is so fun to see.  14 years old! 

8. Billy Fajardo and his partner... beauuutiful routine!

9. I didn't know that two guys had won the Mayan competition!  Man, this is 2009.  Nice routine!

10. The finale, with Alex Lee and Kim from San Francisco and Dave and Zoe from NY, was really fun. 

11. It comes from a person that is not that much into shows, ok.. so trust me... those above were awesome!

12. Johnny Polanco with his big band sounded good.  I love how Johnny can move on from one instrument to the next seemingly effortlessly.

13. DJ Suazo in da house!

14. Nice small drum circle on the lobby.

15. Good thing today's a holiday. I'm pooped.  :)
